IPS Conference
Video & Screens

To support a large annual healthcare conference, I designed and created animations to run throughout the show to draw attention to the stand and share product information. I also created static screens to support on-stand demonstrations.

What I did

Branding, storyboarding, animation, team management, collateral design, digital design

Results

  • Stand interest and generated conversation
  • Visual support for demonstrations to help with customer training and best product and infection prevention practice

Challenge

Every year GAMA Healthcare attend the Infection Prevention Society conference, where they showcase their newest products and connect with customers, nurses and the IPC community. The design team are responsible for designing the stand, all collateral, campaign material and any digital assets.

As well as being part of the initial stand design discussions, one of my roles was to create the videos that would play on loop during the day and design the presentation screens for each of the talks we had going on over the 3 days (essentially, all things big screen). These needed to be informative and eye-catching to draw customers to the stand but not too overwhelming, due to the size of the screens (they were bigger than me!).

Due to time restraints and to maximise resources, I created the storyboards and animated the first Complete Clean video, which would be used as a template. I then passed the other videos on to three different animators who created the following three videos in tandem.

Outcome

The presentation screens were a more straight-forward affair. I was supplied the content from each speaker which I helped work up to support their talks.
